Spring Break 2009

Megan couldn’t go this year, and in addition, we decided to visit Baltimore, as well as DC. So, Kayela, Jordan, Mason, John, and Ethan (John’s friend) came up on Amtrak Wed. night. I met them via the Metro, and we stayed at my rental bedroom for the first two nights.

Then, we headed to Baltimore. Mason surprised us all by “spooking” other tourists wandering around. It was completely dark, and Mason would unexpectedly jump at people and growl, like he was some kind of wild animal. Everyone took it pretty well, but we were ready to disown him if anyone wanted to know who he belonged to.

John got to sample a chicken gizzard at the Lexington Market in downtown Baltimore. Mmmmmmm. We hit the new Marine Museum on the way home–it’s right off I-95, at Quantico.
